#20 Dave Reitman

With the departure of Bill Bode and Charles O'Loughlin Dave now has the second longest tenure on the Cubs, despite the fact he is still only 25.  Dave also took on a larger role as a team leader and also helped run the team when Mike was absent.  Dave set a career high in hits with 22 in 2007 and hit .293, his second highest batting average for his career.  Despite hitting only 1 home run, Dave still showed power tying a career high with 6 doubles.  Dave also improved his defense in right field.  Dave will again be a team leader in 2008 and he will look to regain his home run stroke as well.
