After numerous season playing for the Raiders in the Pontiac League Randy joined the Cubs in 2005.  Randy again was a team leader and helped run the team when Mike was absent.  2007 also marked Randy's best offensive season as a Cub as he hit nearly .500, ending the season at .478.  Randy also recorded 7 doubles, scored 19 runs and had 13 walks as well.  Along with runs, walks and batting average Randy also set career highs as a Cub in on-base percentage, slugging percentage and OPS.  Randy was also named the team's Offensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player and the Most Dedicated Player for 2007.
