2008 will be Matt's first season with the Cubs.  He played his college ball at Albion College and was 1st team all-conference his junior and senior year.  Matt will fill a big hole for the Cubs and will see time at third, second and in the outfield.  In college Matt caught so he could be an emergency catcher too.
